Talent Magnet Institute to Partner and Co-Host Summer Leadership Series

Jun 12, 2023

Talent Magnet Institute is excited to announce its partnership with The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) on a joint Summer Leadership Series. This lunchtime series will focus on a variety of important topics such as the psychology of work, work-life-balance, and purpose, value and meaning in the workplace.

The Summer Leadership Series seeks to provide continuous learning opportunities for NKY Chamber Leadership program alumni. The sessions will be led by Mike Sipple Jr., CEO and Co-Founder of Talent Magnet Institute and John McCarthy, CEO of The Purpose Promise.

Sipple shares, “Building healthy, vibrant, and effective teams starts with having healthy, vibrant, and effective leaders inspired to lead well. As an alumnus of Leadership Northern Kentucky, it’s an honor to help build out a leadership community and programming specifically designed to support alumni and the teams and organizations that they lead.”

The Summer Leadership Series sessions will include:

Retain Top Talent: The New Psychology of Work | June 21

Through a practical dive into the new psychology of work, organizational leaders can adapt to new motivational norms, build a high-performance/high-retention culture and become a talent magnet. This session will explore attracting and retaining top talent amidst the new psychology of work. Attendees will walk away with best practices to support a high-performance and high-retention culture and practical ways to win the war on talent in the competitive labor market.

Summer Recharge: Creating a Sustainable Work-Life Balance | July 19

Prioritizing mental health and well-being in the workplace pays off. Avoiding burnout, stress, exhaustion and anxiety is difficult whether you’re on or off the clock. This session will help attendees uncover what a culture of well-being is, what a self-care plan is, how well-being support helps to attract and retain talent and how to empower others to well-being.

Operationalizing Organizational Purpose | August 16

What do people really want from the organizations they work for? Purpose, value and meaning are essential for business but it’s also essential for providing direction for your employees and increasing talent retention. This session will introduce the five areas you need to develop to have an organization purpose and how to integrate them into an attraction and performance management tool.

Summer Leadership Series sessions will run 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., include lunch and will take place in the St. Elizabeth boardroom at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (300 Buttermilk Pike Suite 330 Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017).
